The Crucast Crew will be hosting the Bass Stage at Wonderwood on the Farm this July with Bru-C, Darkzy, Kanine, Lazcru, MC_AD, Skepsis, TS7, WindowKid & Zero.
BRU-C
Bru-C is a 26 year old MC/Entrepreneur based in Nottingham. Founder of Krudd, 2Much & various other events/clothing brands, Bru-C knows his way around the dance, being one of the main faces for rappers in the UK Bass scene, quoted “The voice of Bassline in 2017” by UKF. High energy performances and strong collaboration tracks with the likes of Skepsis, Darkzy, Bassboy & Hadean make Bru-C a well known figure in 2017. With backing from PRS Music Foundation being granted funding for a huge release next year, the future is bright for Bru-C
DARKZY
Hailing from Nottingham, inspired by the gritty sub low frequencies, Darkzy has developed his own unique sound, taking influences from the underground UK bassline, Drum & bass, Dubstep, UK Garage and Grime scene, At the age of 20 he has already released a string of original and heavyweight remixes, No stranger to the club circuit, Darkzy has gained support from fans worldwide, which has seen him rise so quickly. Exciting times ahead with new music and a rammed diary, Darkzy is fast developing a reputation as one of the UK’s brightest talents.
KANINE
Supported by some of the biggest and most influential names in Drum & Bass, the young Londoner known as Kanine is living up to his potential and developing into a headline act with a long career ahead of him. Originally recognised as one of the leading names in the new wave of Jump Up producers that have helped force the sound into the mainstream, his sound is evolving all the time as he moves towards being one of the more versatile artists in the 175 BPM range.
LAZCRU
Hailing from Oxford UK, DJ / Producer Lazcru takes influences from Drum and Bass / Garage and Bassline. Lazcru is known for his blistering sets, exciting vibe, heavy on the drop but always compulsively danceable. He has played all over the UK / Europe and Asia. Lazcru founded Crucast, a label based in the UK that is regarded as being at the forefront of the UK underground sound. A passionate DJ he has grown the label from humble beginnings, releasing music from artists across the scene, showcasing a diverse and vital roster covering all angles of bass music
SKEPSIS
Skepsis is a bassline producer from south London in the United Kingdom. Active since 2014, Skepsis has played all over the UK, as well as festivals at home and abroad. One of the most popular of the new wave of bassline DJs, tracks such as “Goes Like” have seen his popularity explode, with numerous shows played. Skepsis embarked on a UK tour throughout early 2018, and has attracted support from established names such as Diplo & Jauz.
TS7
Born and raised in Bradford, it was from the age of just 5 that TS7 realised how big his passion for music really was. Piano lessons encouraged by his parents led him to achieve grade 5 by the time he was 13.
Towards the late noughties, he went on to establish himself as one of the leading names in Bassline with a number of tracks making an impact across club land. In 2013 he released Heartlight on Universal, a bass heavy club heater that was A listed on BBC 1Xtra, and received strong specialist support at Radio 1, Rinse FM, Kiss FM and Capital.
More recently, TS7 has released music with Bass powerhouses Night Bass & Crucast Records including releasing independently. With over 2.5m Spotify streams, playlisted on NMF, and a forthcoming debut album, 2018 is looking like a big year for the bass specialist
Alongside production, he has toured and played shows and festivals across the UK and Europe incessantly. Whether it’s hard hitting club tracks, or more melodic and emotive cuts, TS7’s appetite for innovative production and adaptability remains stronger than ever
WINDOW KID
